Modern Baseball share video for ‘Rock Bottom’

Modern Baseball released their second album ‘You’re Gonna Miss It All’ last year, and have released a video for the ‘Rock Bottom’ track from the record.

The clip refers to the band as a “sad awkward boy band” before Brendan Lukens gets transported through prom night.

Modern Baseball were in the UK earlier this year for a co-headline tour with Into It. Over It. and spoke to DIY while they were over about the (lack of) seriousness of being in a band. “We never feel any pressure, as pretty much everything we do is a big inside joke anyway! Modern Baseball is just a fucking band, we can do what we want with it. The songwriting process has always been out of concepts and personal goals that we want to achieve, rather than pleasing a public.”

The band recently cancelled tour dates in Australia as well as planned performances at this year’s Reading and Leeds festivals, citing mental health reasons.

In better news, the band have also released a new track, ‘Revenge Of The Nameless Ranger’, for free on their Bandcamp page.
