More SXSW Visa Casualties

In what’s been dubbed ‘visagate’ by at least one person we’ve seen on Twitter, three further artists have been forced to pull out of this year’s SXSW in Austin, Texas - the music part of which begins tomorrow.

Label Wichita confirmed via Twitter that their artists Frankie & The Heartstrings, Those Dancing Days and Young Legionnaire have all had to pull their scheduled appearances due to not having ‘their visas processed in time… despite having applied correctly’

Various other artists have complained about visa issues, including Withered Hand, who was initially deemed ‘not of extraordinary ability’.

It now seems even UK Top 40 artists aren’t immune to similar problems.
