Mothers get their hide and seek on in new ‘Copper Mines’ video
The video sees an extremely cheery young man hiding in all sorts of bizarre places.

Mothers have a new video for ‘Copper Mines,’ and it largely consists of a very, very cheerful man hiding gleefully in all sorts of strange places. From shopping trolleys to dry cleaners, Christmas trees to basketball hoops, it’s probably quicker to list the places this rather bizarre man doesn’t frequent.
He even goes to the lengths of burying himself in a flower bed, for goodness sake. Alan Titchmarsh would be appalled.
The Athens band released their very matter-of-factly-titled debut album ‘When You Walk A Long Distance You Are Tired’ earlier this year.
Watch Mothers’ new video below. And be assured, it’s a far less upsetting prospect than their last video for ‘It Hurts Until It Doesn’t. That one was about a missing cat.

Nothing is overstated or particularly complex, but it’s in the little flairs of trickery littered throughout each track that Mothers really come alive.
