Muse, Charli XCX, Foo Fighters, alt-J, George Ezra and more added to BBC Radio 1’s Big Weekend Norwich

Ben Howard, Clean Bandit and others join Taylor Swift, Florence + The Machine and Years & Years at the May event.

A load more bands have been added to BBC Radio 1’s Big Weekend, taking place in Norwich next month.

Already announced for the annual event, which moves city each year, were Taylor Swift, Florence + the Machine, Years & Years and Catfish and the Bottlemen. They’ve been joined by Muse, who will headline the Saturday of the event, alongside Fall Out Boy, The Vaccines, Ben Howard, Charli XCX, 5 Seconds of Summer and David Guetta.

On Sunday, Foo Fighters will headline, while George Ezra, Sam Smith, Clean Bandit, Imagine Dragons, Rita Ora and Olly Murs have joined the line up.

The In New Music We Trust stage on Saturday will feature Circa Waves, Ella Eyre, Hozier, Jess Glynne, Mallory Knox, Rudimental, Slaves and Snoop Dogg (?!), with Sunday including Alt-J, James Bay, Jungle, Lower Than Atlantis, Raury, Sigma and SOAK.

BBC Radio 1’s Big Weekend takes place in Norwich’s Earlham Park on 23rd and 24th May.
