Nao confirms upcoming fourth album with new single ‘Wildflowers’

London’s Nao is back with news of a fourth album (the title and release date of which is yet to be confirmed), and has marked the occasion by sharing her new single ‘Wildflowers’. 

A soul-stirring testament to the joys of opening yourself up to the world, the track was recorded at Abbey Road Studios this time last year, with Nao drawing inspiration from the passage of time, coming of age, and her then-pregnancy. 

It’s our first taste of what to expect from her much-anticipated new chapter, following the release of her last full-length ‘And Then Life Was Beautiful’, in 2021. Speaking about ‘Wildflowers’, Nao has shared that “A wildflower symbolises falling in love - it’s wild, carefree, and you want it to last forever. But life and time have other plans. ‘Wildflowers’ invites listeners to explore the highs and lows of love while embracing vulnerability.”
