New Charli XCX track emerges, ‘Red Balloon’

A new Charli XCX track has emerged online, running separate to her new ‘Sucker’ album.

‘Red Balloon’ is a straight-up, squeaky clean pop track, built around breakneck speed samples. A big detachment from the brattish punk of ‘Sucker’, it builds itself around a bold chorus of “if you’ve got troubles let ‘em go / let ‘em soar so high into the sky just like a red balloon.”
