New issue of DIY out now, feat. Laura Marling, Courtney Barnett, Alt-J, The Vaccines & more

The new issue of DIY - out now, from 27th February - is fronted by Laura Marling, on a bonkers quest to find her spiritual self.

Our March 2015 cover feature tracks the journey of a star who had to re-evaluate everything before pursuing with her new album, ‘Short Movie’.

This month’s DIY takes us from The O2 Arena (backstage with Alt-J at the gig of the year, alongside Wolf Alice and Gengahr) to the studios of The Vaccines and Django Django.

Courtney Barnett gives us a glimpse of life Down Under, while readying her show-stopping debut album, and Tobias Jesso Jr. talks cheesy jokes and the LA lifestyle that this month’s cover star ended up leaving.

There’s also Dutch Uncles (on the brink of hitting the jackpot with their new LP), a solo-stirring Will Butler from Arcade Fire, and lots, lots more, from Clarence Clarity removing the mask to Peace answering all your bonkers questions in Popstar Postbag.

Neu gives introductions to “beans music” newcomers Yak, London charmer Oscar and Danish punks Yung.

And we deliver verdicts on big releases from Björk, The Cribs, Dutch Uncles, Courtney Barnett and Will Butler.

DIY’s March 2015 issue is out now. Pick up a physical copy from our beloved stockists, or read online for free via Issuu and on yr iPhone / iPad through Apple Newsstand.
