Nicolas Jaar and Justice amongst first names for Sónar 2017
Moderat and De La Soul are also heading to Barcelona in June.
The 24th edition of Sónar Festival will be taking place in Barcelona between 14th-17th June 2017, and the first wave of acts has just been announced.
At Sónar By Night, Justice will be playing tunes from their latest album ‘Woman’, while Nicolas Jaar brings ‘Sirens’ to the event. There will also be sets from Moderat and De La Soul, as well as Cashmere Cat and Clams Casino.
Meanwhile, at the By Day, events Forest Swords and GAIKA will be performing at SonarHall. At the Auditori concert hall, the Spanish premiere of US composer David Lang’s work ‘Death Speaks’ will be held, and elsewhere the Sónar +D conference will also be focused on the role of VR.
