Nothing announce new ‘Tired Of Tomorrow’ album
They’ve shared a teaser of the new record, set for release on Relapse Records.

Philadelphia shoegazers Nothing have announced a new album, set for release on Relapse Records.
‘Tired Of Tomorrow’, the follow-up to 2013’s ‘Guilty Of Nothing’, is scheduled for a spring 2016 release. To back up the announcement, they’ve shared a minute of new material in a striking new clip which, according to an interview with Noisey, “took 15 gallons of pink bucket paint, rollers, paint suits, 14 hours of sweaty labor.” Which sounds bloody horrible, in all honesty. The lyrics for the new record came together during a hospital stay that frontman Nicky Palermo underwent following an assault in Oakland this May which saw him hospitalised “with a fractured skull, fractured orbital, two small fractures in my spine, and twelve staples.” Basically, Nicky’s had a real time of it this past 18 months.
Check out the teaser for ‘Tired Of Tomorrow’ below. It sees the band’s sonics expanded yet-further, bringing Nicky’s vocals to the fore with a crystalline sheen.
