Oasis add extra dates to their 2025 UK & Ireland reunion tour

Three additional shows - one each in London, Manchester, and Edinburgh - have been added due to phenomenal demand.

Oasis officially confirm reunion by announcing UK & Ireland 2025 tour, after teasing from Liam Gallagher

Definitely, not maybe. Having officially confirmed that they will be reuniting for a series of huge stadium shows in 2025, Oasis have now added three extra shows to their current touring schedule due to overwhelming demand for tickets.

It’s 15 years since the band split up (following a backstage fight between brothers Noel and Liam Gallagher at Paris’ Rock en Seine Festival in 2009), and rumours about the Britpop titans have been swirling for weeks - particularly since they announced a special reissue of ‘Definitely Maybe’ to celebrate the 30th anniversary of their seminal debut. Now Noel and Liam seem to have put aside their differences to get the band back together.

The pair will reunite for seventeen shows across the UK and Ireland next summer as part of the “domestic leg” of their OASIS LIVE 25 world tour, including newly added dates in Manchester, London, and Edinburgh. It’s also been confirmed that these will be their only shows in Europe next year, seemingly ruling out the possibility of a Glastonbury headline slot…

Speculation reached fever pitch this past weekend, when Liam headlined Sunday night of Reading Festival and dedicated his performance of Oasis’ ‘Half The World Away’ to Noel. He then ended his set with an on-screen teaser reading “27.08.24. 8am.”, the message stylised in the same way as Oasis’ iconic logo.

The message also followed a flurry of not-so-cryptic social media activity on Liam’s part; one of his posts on X/Twitter from Sunday (25th August) reads: “I never did like that word FORMER”.
