Octavian, Friendly Fires and Four Tet are some of the first acts to be announced for the brand new Portuguese festival, Nova Batida.

The event, which is set to take place across Lisbon’s LX Factory and Village Underground Lisboa, will also play host to the likes of slowthai, Daniel Avery, Ross From Friends, Ben UFO, Floating Points and a DJ set from Jon Hopkins.

And, according to the press release, it’s not just about the music - the fest is set to be a “long weekend of eclectic music, food, education, wellness, culture and lots more.” So if that doesn’t sway you…

Tickets for the event, which takes place from 13th to 15th September, are available from £99 and are on sale now.
