Ultra acoustic: Oh Wonder have shared a piano version of ‘Ultralife’

The stripped-back version of the track was recorded at Abbey Road.
Oh Wonder’s brand new album ‘Ultralife’ is coming out on 14th July, and last week they showed off their beautifully crafted stop-motion collage video for ‘Heavy’.
For their latest clip though, they’ve headed to the iconic Abbey Road to record a bare-bones version of the album’s title track. While the lead single from their second record is a shimmering beast that signalled a bold new direction for Josephine and Anthony, this new version sees the pair stripping it all down to just piano and voice.
The result is pretty gorgeous. The pair are in perfect harmony – in more ways than one – with the minimalist approach bringing out the more sensitive, reflective side of the track.

Oh Wonder will play Sziget (9th-16th August), where DIY is an official media partner. Tickets are on sale now. Visit diymag.com/presents for more information.
