Omar Souleyman shares new Four Tet produced song ‘Bahdeni Nami’
The Syrian wedding-circuit legend turned dance musician releases the title track ahead of his new album.
Omar Souleyman has shared a new track, ‘Bahdeni Nami’. The title track from his second studio album - out on July 27th via Monkeytown records - is produced by Four Tet, who also worked with Souleyman on his previous record ‘Wenu Wenu’.
Prior to releasing his debut studio album ‘Wenu Wenu,’ Omar Souleyman released around 500 bootleg tapes while touring Syria’s wedding scene. Back with his second studio album, ‘Bahdeni Nami’ features guest slots from Gilles Peterson and Modeselektor, as well as Four Tet. Cole Alexander of Black Lips has also remixed a track for a new 7” release slated for release in August.
