Passion Pit stream new track, ‘Lifted Up (1985)’
Michael Angelakos is previewing new album ‘Kindred’.
Passion Pit are streaming ‘Lifted Up (1985)’, the euphoric opening track to forthcoming third album ‘Kindred’.
With the new album out 20th April on Columbia, ‘Lifted Up…’ sees Michael Angelakos refining his giddy production and deep message complex even further. Speaking to Zane Lowe (the track gained its first play as a Hottest Record on Radio 1), Angelakos claimed that ‘Kindred’ was the first Passion Pit record he’d actually enjoyed making.
A newly-unveiled tracklist can be seen above the player. ‘Kindred’ is available for pre-order, with ‘Lifted Up’ and ‘Where the Sky Hangs’ available for instant download.
