Pharrell Williams Set To Appear On New Daft Punk Record

Williams will join the likes of Nile Rodgers, Paul Williams, Animal Collective’s Panda Bear, Chilly Gonzales, and Giorgio Moroder.

Just when you thought the list of guest appearances on the forthcoming Daft Punk album could get no more impressive, well, they go and unveil another one, don’t they?

This time around, it seems that producer and N.E.R.D frontman Pharrell Williams has decided to join the French duos for their latest musical foray. As reported by IAmMusic.TV, he “placed vocals on three of the albums tracks.”

As if we needed anymore proof, fellow collaborator Nile Rodgers tweeted a link to the article, as below.

Williams is set to join an all-star cast of musical guests on the band’s new ‘Random Access Memories’, including the aforementioned Rodgers along with Paul Williams, Animal Collective’s Panda Bear, Chilly Gonzales, and Giorgio Moroder.

Daft Punk’s new album, the follow-up to the dance duo’s 2005 effort ‘Human After All’, is due on 21st May. Titled ‘Random Access Memories’, the new album will feature thirteen tracks - of which we’re not sure of the titles, but know the track lengths - and will be available through Columbia Records imprint Daft Life Limited.
