Poliça and s t a r g a z e air new track ‘Agree’
It’s taken from their collaborative album ‘Music For The Long Emergency’.

In early November, Poliça announced that they’d teamed up with Berlin-based chamber orchestra s t a r g a z e for a new collaborative album ‘Music For The Long Emergency’.
With the LP out on 16th February, they’ve already shared the sprawling, ten-minute lead track ‘How Is This Happening’. Now they’re back with ‘Agree’, which stands at a much leaner three and a half minutes. Its shorter length also makes it a more direct number, with Channy Leaneagh’s vocals mixing with the chamber arrangements.
In a press release, Channy said: “I suppose it’s similar to when I listen to techno or instrumental music. It’s just the quieting of not having the lyrics to tell you a feeling, it’s just the notes and the rhythm, and they leave room for your mind to sit. My philosophy with POLIÇA and with this project was to try to be another instrument, to meld in and not always steal the show or overwhelm the sound”.
