Good lord
Pray for Gareth Bale, Manic Street Preachers’ Euro 2016 song is here
‘Together Stronger (C’mon Wales)’ is enough to make Joe Allen retire and raise chickens for a living.

Football sides competing in this year’s Euro 2016 tournament have been spared of official anthems, for the time being. Apparently Stormzy’s writing one for England. Or Louis Tomlinson from One Direction. One or the other.
Wales are first to the finish line - and we really do mean finish line, because this might just be the end of music itself - with Manic Street Preachers’ rallying cry, ‘Together Stronger (C’mon Wales)’.
Forget the video for one second. Just ignore Joe Allen bouncing on the spot looking like a toddler. Try and block out the sight of Wales’ players looking bemused and reading James Dean Bradfield’s lyrics from a sheet.
Let’s focus on the chorus.
“So come on Ramsey, let’s set the world alight.
When Gareth Bale plays, we can beat any side.
So come on, Wales. So come on, Wales.
Together stronger, we’ll win if we unite.”
Throw in the line “With Ashley Williams, we can win any fight” and there we have it, the Euro 2016 anthem the world’s been waiting for.
Nothing can stop Wales, now. Hal Robson Kanu (recently released on a free by Reading) will score the winner in a tense final against Germany. Because with these players and this song, Wales are invincible.
Watch the remarkable video below, via WalesOnline, and just look at wee Joe Allen.
