Premiere: Charlie Simpson Unveils New Video For ‘Haunted’

Currently in the throes of an intimate UK tour, Charlie Simpson has decided it’s about time to give fans another glimpse of his forthcoming new album.

Having already unveiled the first cut from his sophomore full-length ‘Long Road Home’ earlier this month - have a listen to ‘Winter Hymns’ here - Simpson has now revealed the new video for new single ‘Haunted’. The clip, as premiered on DIY, sees the singer being given an opportunity to see life from the other side of the camera, as he gets to direct - wait for it - himself, in his own music video.

‘I had a lot of fun shooting the video for ‘Haunted”, Charlie told us, of the video. ‘I am a big fan of Curb Your Enthusiasm, so when the video treatment came in for me to be playing a warped version of myself as well as the video director it sounded like a really funny idea. I’m really pleased with the way it turned out.’

The ex-Fightstar frontman will follow up his 2011 solo debut ‘Young Pilgrim’ with ‘Long Road Home’ on 14th July, when it’s released through Nusic Sounds and ADA.
