Premiere: Listen: Broken Twin Unveils ‘Sun Has Gone’ Track

Majke Voss Romme shares a take from her debut album ahead of dates alongside Daughter this winter.

Majke Voss Romme aka Broken Twin has announced a new single, ‘Sun Has Gone’. She’s also the first Scandinavian artist to ever sign to Wilco label ANTI- and there’s a reason for that.

Taken from a 2014 full-length, Majke’s sombre, sleepy piano ballad is an ode to the darkness sweeping in. It takes a lyric from The National, stating ‘sorrow won’, and runs with it to the hills.

Despite the despondency, it’s delivered with such clear-headed clarity that it becomes capable of lifting the lid off any moody slumber. Fitting, then, that Broken Twin’s set to support Daughter on their run of European dates.

See those dates in full below and listen to the DIY premiere of ‘Sun Has Gone’. The single’s released on 18th November via ANTI-.
