Premiere: Listen: Let’s Wrestle Stream ‘Rain Ruins Revolution’ Track
Rory Attwell-produced third LP arrives this February through Fortuna Pop!
North London trio Let’s Wrestle are ‘good guys’, honest, even if their lack of riotous rebellion is all pinned down to the weather. This new track - ‘Rain Ruins Revolution’, taken from a self-titled LP on Fortuna Pop! - is a wittily titled, sarcasm drenched storm through bright-eyed albeit tongue-in-cheek choruses and upbeatness with a skewed mirror’s image.
Wesley Patrick Gonzalez leads the way through 2 minutes, 30 seconds’ worth of quintessentially smartly executed, quickfire musicianship. The track (and album) comes recorded by Rory Attwell, with the follow-up to 2011’s ‘Nursing Home’ arriving on 10th February.
DIY’s premiering this essential new track below. Let’s Wrestle launch their album with a free instore at Rough Trade East, London (details).
