Nothing’s standing in Shy Nature’s way - try and provide an obstruction and they’ll just batten down the hatches with joyous, all-encompassing indie pop. It’s a fairly simple formula: Festival-ready riffs, sky-reaching choruses, enough euphoria to pack into any sweaty tent or basement venue. But it works, and in their new giveaway song ‘She Comes She Goes’, Shy Nature might’ve penned their biggest track yet.

The new effort is taken from the band’s forthcoming EP, ‘Birthday Club’. It follows on from packed-out sets at Live at Leeds and Brighton’s Great Escape Festival, in turn preceding appearances at Radio 1’s Big Weekend and Field Day. ‘She Comes She Goes’ doesn’t muckabout or hide under pretence - it’s a championed, singalong anthem in the making, with every intention of taking over.
