Premiere: Listen: Tara Carosielli Unveils ‘Sanity’ Track

London based newcomer Tara Carosielli might possess a flooring voice - the kind that could turn up to a talent show and render other contestants redundant - but she’s not the kind to rest on her laurels.

On ‘Sanity’ - a new track produced by Knightstarr, she backs up vocals that stir and swerve with glitchy production, a muffled filter that gives every inch of backdrop a surreal quality. There’s showy guitar licks, sky-reaching synths to be found underneath the surface, but they’re buried deep down. Subtlety gets its due rewards.

Alongside the first play of ‘Sanity’, we’ve also got a TV static, GIF-style video for the track (very much like the ones Allie X has started sharing of late). Lexie Burini directs.
