Hear the Brighton noise merchant freak the hell out for a new free download.
could probably raise the dead with his freakish, nightmarish take on rock ‘n roll. There’s a nocturnal vibe to his wizardry, initially spilling out in 2013 singles and cementing itself in this new standalone track, ‘Sound Machine’.
Given away as a free download, the track’s a gentle - read: no prisoners - reminder of Theo’s all-thrills routine. It’s riffs galore; a daring trip into the wild unknown, sort of like the musical equivalent of Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas, with double the dosage of illegal substances.
On Wednesday 30th April, Theo Verney joins Solids and Polterghost for a DIY Presents bill at London Birthdays. Details.
