Premiere: Watch: Superhumanoids Unveil ‘So Strange’ Video

Somehow sneaking under the general, all-seeing giddy synth pop radar is ‘Exhibitionists’, the debut full-length from LA trio Superhumanoids. Linked up with the likes of St. Lucia and Haerts in stringing old-school songwriting through a glistening ’80s indebted filter, it’s a genuine triumph, out now on Innovative Leisure.

The video for ‘So Strange’ hones in at the centrepoint of ‘Exhibitionists’. It lives up to the record’s title too, including some trusty nudity. Directed by David Altobelli & Taylor Cohen, it’s an initially giddy glimpse into city life that eventually turns into an emotional juggernaut of a concept, reaching out at themes like family life, loyalty and loss.

Tonight marks the first time Superhumanoids visit the UK (26th November), playing a show in Dalston venue Birthdays.
