Premiere: Watch: Theo Verney Airs ‘Heavy Sunn’ Video

The term ‘bedroom project’ is pretty loose. It can apply to all manner of pajama-sporting musicians, from those nodding their heads over dimly lit Macbook screens to some louder loons, the kind who’d receive ASBOs if they got any louder.

Neighbour warnings can go to hell in the new Theo Verney video. This semi-escapist growl of a track - taken from a new EP of the same name - is filmed, presumably, in Theo’s makeshift studio. Joined by the newly recruited full-band, who’ve in turn bolstered his sound into something terrifying, Verney and co shake the walls and threaten the foundations of the surrounding bookcases. How any of those Penguin Classics stay in place is by the end of the video is one of life’s great mysteries.
