Radkey showcase new video for ‘Love Spills’
The trio’s new dark clip lands ahead of the release of their debut album this August.
Ahead of the release of their debut album next month, Radkey have unveiled their new video for ‘Love Spills’.
A touch on the dark and twisted side, the trio’s new clip sees a group of skaters messing around, doing tricks and just, you know, hanging out before they’re given a challenge to overcome: a mother has accidentally locked her baby in a car, alongside the keys.
The concept for the video was thought up by director Alec Nicholas, who was inspired after watching YouTube clips. ““I came up with the idea a year or two ago when some friends and I were watching a YouTube video called ‘SKATERS SAVE TWO BABIES FROM LOCKED CAR’, so I decided to take that scenario and bring it to a different place.”
‘Love Spills’ gets taken from the band’s forthcoming debut album ‘Dark Black Makeup’, which is due for release on 21st August through Littleman Records.
They’re also set to play at this year’s Reading and Leeds, before a one-off show at London’s Old Blue Last in September. They’ll then return to the UK for a full tour in October and November.
