Rage Against The Machine’s Zack de la Rocha releases debut solo track

Rage Against the Machine frontman Zack de la Rocha has released his debut solo track, with production on ‘Digging For Windows’ coming from none other than Run the Jewels’ El-P.

They’re an abrasive and well-matched pair for the track, which rips along at a cut-throat pace like a scalpel slicing through fuzzy-felt. El-P and him go back a fair while, and were spotted together in the studio last year. Zack de la Rocha appears on RTJ2 track ‘Close Your Eyes (and Count to Fuck),’ and they have also performed live together in the past, too.

There’s no word of any future solo material from Zack de la Rocha beyond this, but ‘Digging For Windows’ is available for free download, which is nice.
