Rat Boy shares slick, loop-happy ‘Get Over It’ single
Track is taken from a new EP, out August.

Rat Boy has shared a brand new single, ‘Get Over It’.
DIY’s Class of 2016 cover star is readying a new EP of the same name, out 26th August. It’s led by a sample-happy, crazed single that chants about being “sick of comparisons” - still, it’s hard to get away the sheer Beck via The Avalanches-nodding lunacy of it all.
A slick new effort, it’s a grand scoped cross between some of Jordan Cardy’s foremost influences - the fjnest realisation yet of his collage approach to pop. It’s streaming below.
Rat Boy plays the following UK dates:
16 Sheffield, The Leadmill
17 Manchester, Albert Hall
18 Newcastle, University
19 Glasgow, Barrowland Ballroom
22 London, O2 Forum Kentish Town
23 Oxford, O2 Academy 1
24 Birmingham, O2 Institute
26 Portsmouth, The Wedgewood Rooms
27 Cambridge, Junction
28 Bristol, Anson Rooms
