RAYE reveals details of second album ‘THIS MUSIC MAY CONTAIN HOPE’
Set over four “seasons”, the star’s much-anticipated next full length will hit shelves on 27th March.

Here we go - RAYE is officially back! The genre-hopping pop sensation has confirmed that her new album, ‘THIS MUSIC MAY CONTAIN HOPE’, is due for release on 27th March via Human Re Sources.
Having returned last year with the brilliantly balls-to-the-wall single ‘WHERE IS MY HUSBAND!’ (which earned her not one but two BRIT Award nominations earlier this week), she’s since kept fans on tenterhooks waiting for more news on her second LP.
The follow-up to her astounding 2023 debut ‘My 21st Century Blues’, ‘THIS MUSIC MAY CONTAIN HOPE’ will be set across four “seasons” (one for each side of the vinyl), carrying listeners through sonic darkness before emerging optimistically into the light. “Music is medicine, I’ve always said that,” Raye has noted, reflecting on the album’s central concept.
“I guess I’m in the process of making medicine for myself that I can share with the world. I want us all to say to ourselves that it’s going to be all right, and I’m going to have faith in the seeds that I’ve planted beneath the snow. I wanted to create something that is a hug, bed or soft place for that person who needs it.”
