Frontman Matthew Shultz jokes that he almost suffered death by love.”“

In a chat with DIY at Reading Festival yesterday (Sunday 28th August), Cage The Elephant told us how frontman Matthew Shultz ‘almost died.’
Following their somewhat rowdy set, Matthew and guitarist Brad Shultz revealed:
Matt: The show was awesome. I think I had more fun watching the crowd than I did playing the show.
Brad: And he almost died.
Matt: Yeah, but I lived through it so it’s all good. Death by love. The crowd gave me a big hug. It was good.
Check back for the full interview later in the week.
