Real Friends confirm ‘More Acoustic Songs’ EP
The band will release their new four-track EP as part of this year’s Record Store Day.
To help celebrate this year’s Record Store Day, Real Friends have decided to release a new four-track acoustic EP, aptly-titled ‘More Acoustic Songs’.
Featuring acoustic renditions of their tracks ‘Summer’, ‘I Don’t Love You Anymore’ and ‘Late Nights In My Car’ (which features an appearance from This Wild Life’s Kevin Jordan), the EP also boasts a special cover of The Starting Line’s ‘Island’.
The EP is set to be released as a limited edition picture disc on 18th April to coincide with Record Store Day, before being made available digitally on 28th April - 5% of proceeds from the digital version will be donated to to Hope For The Day and Hinsdale Humane Society.
Speaking of their forthcoming release, the band’s bassist Kyle Fasel has said: “We are stoked to showcase our songs in acoustic form. The main reason we did this was for personal taste. We all have connected with acoustic music in the past and currently. It’s also an added bonus to highlight these versions of our songs to our fans. It shows our songs in another light that we are very excited about sharing.”
