Red Hot Chili Peppers: No Single Premiere Tonight, More Details Revealed

So, last week we thought we might be hearing the new Red Hot Chili Peppers single tonight following a tweet from Radio 1 DJ Zane Lowe.

With Zane not in the studio tonight (the excellent Huw Stephens is standing in) it seems that we’re unlikely to get that premiere. But worry not (if you were worried - Ed), for an email has landed in the DIY inbox informing of other plans.

The track, ‘The Adventures of Rain Dance Maggie’ (artwork to the right), will be serviced to radio on July 18th - which means due to the magic of On Air On Sale, you’ll be able to download it the very same day.

More than that, Red Hot Chili peppers have launched a Facebook Event today at facebook.com/chilipeppers , which will both notify fans when the track is available to buy, but also give them special reveals in the run up.

Red Hot Chili Peppers’ latest album, and first in Quite A While Actually, is titled ‘I’m With You’ and is available from 29th August.
