The event will now take place in the Villaverde region of the city.
Mad Cool Festival have announced a change in location ahead of their 2023 edition.
The event will now take place in the Villaverde area of the Spanish capital, which the organisers say will be “more accessible for festival goers”, with an “extensive transportation network facilitating responsible and sustainable mobility”.
The site will stretch across 185,000 square metres for its sixth edition, which takes place across three days and eight stages from 6th July.
Headliners this year include Red Hot Chili Peppers, Mumford & Sons, Lizzo, Robbie Williams, Queens of the Stone Age, The Black Keys, The 1975 and Sam Smith.
The festival says it aims to “transform the area into a cultural hub for people who are environmentally conscious as well as lovers of art and music”.
