Regal Safari Share New Remix From Egyptian Hip Hop

Brighton’s Regal Safari laid claim to a place on the royal throne of remixers last year, with superb edits of the likes of Mozart Parties and Kai Fish closing out 2011.

They begin the new year with a slight role reversal, as Egyptian Hip Hop take on their track, ‘Lake’.

The track is very much unlike the original, focusing heavily on snippets of guitar, giving the track a warped, almost math-rock feel. Listen below.

Regal Safari play London’s Old Blue Last on January 27th, followed by a date at Brighton’s Green Door Store on the 29th, in support of Teengirl Fantasy.
