Rhodes performs bewitching version of ‘Your Soul’ for BBC Three at Glastonbury 2014
Check out the stunning take on Rhodes’ recent track, as broadcast yesterday (27th June)
Glastonbury isn’t just about huge names. Arguably more important is the way it allows new artists to get a slice of the limelight. With so much media limelight thrust upon Worthy Farm, there’s a chance for fresh blood to get some mainstream attention.
Yesterday it was Rhodes’ turn, performing a bewitching version of recent track ‘Your Soul’ on BBC Three.
Originally recorded alongside Ian Grimble (Daughter) and Tim Bran/Roy Kerr (London Grammar), producers worth their salt in making beautiful ballads sound strange, like they’re from a different planet completely.
If anything, here it’s even more striking, the echoing guitar and vocal contrasting the background of festival cheers and sound wandering from other stages perfectly. You can check it out below.
