Rostam and Charli XCX team up on brand new remix
The pair have reworked Jim-E-Stack’s ‘Deadstream’ into an electro banger.
“If u ever dreamed of hearing me and Charli XCX sing a duet today is a good day,” says Rostam. He and Charli XCX have teamed up on a brand new remix of ‘Deadstream’ by producer Jim-E-Stack and yeah, it’s everything you want it to be.
Together, the pair elevate the laid-back dance tune into something more twisted. Trap beats move around Rostam’s distorted vocals, while Charli provides a deeply emotive hook. It’s all elevated by a smattering of jangly guitars, atmospheric synths and enough spacious production to let the pair get into their stride.
