Royal Blood on course for second week at Number One

Royal Blood’s stratospheric rise to the top shows no sign of stopping, as the Brighton due are set to hold onto their Number One spot with a self-titled debut album.

Their first record sold 66,000 copies in its first week - the highest-selling rock album in three years.

Currently - according to midweek figures - ‘Royal Blood’ is still outselling Ed Sheeran’s ‘X’ and Sam Smith’s ‘In The Lonely Hour’.

Elsewhere, Lonely the Brave are scoring a high new entry with their debut album ‘The Day’s War’. Pulled Apart By Horses’ ‘Blood’ is currently sitting at #27, their highest-charting album to date.
