Royal Blood postpone Portsmouth, Oxford and Bristol shows

Royal Blood have postponed their remaining UK tour dates after singer Mike Kerr was diagnosed with severe tonsillitis.

The band performed at last night’s MTV EMA awards in Glasgow, but since have been forced to delay shows in Portsmouth tonight (10th November), Oxford tomorrow and Bristol on Wednesday.

The band’s official website states: “We regret to advise that due to illness Royal Blood must postpone their shows in Portsmouth (this evening), Oxford (11th November) and Bristol (12th November) due to illness. Mike has been diagnosed with severe tonsillitis and further to medical advice is not well enough to perform.

Customers are advised to retain their tickets and await further information with regard to rescheduled dates which will be planned and announced as quickly as possible.

We wish to sincerely apologise to all ticket holders for the inconvenience and disappointment this has caused.”

Royal Blood are set to embark on a European tour on Friday (14th November), before heading to North America early next month. The band’s next UK date is a homecoming show at Brighton Dome on December 20th.
