Royal Blood get twisted in the video for ‘I Only Lie When I Love You’

Prepare to get seriously warped with Mike Kerr and Ben Thatcher! Yep, Royal Blood are gearing up for the release of their new album ‘How Did We Get So Dark?’ and after going in ‘Hook, Line & Sinker’ on their last preview, they’re now telling us that ‘I Only Lie When I Love You’. Well, now we’re just confused. Nevertheless, it’s another three-minute blast of pure rock goodness from the pair. Its accompanying video seems quite simple on the surface (Ben and Mike are just playing the tune in a white room, shot in black and white), but a bit like the sentiment of the song itself, things get a bit twisted. The camera goes from making your standard pans and dollies to zooming all over the place, wrapping round the duo and sending them in a spin.
