Run The Jewels & Godspeed You! Black Emperor join ATP Iceland line-up
Deafheaven, Mudhoney and Iceage have also been confirmed to play at the event next year.
Run The Jewels and Godspeed You! Black Emperor are heading up the list of new additions for next year’s edition of ATP Iceland.
The organisers of the event, which takes place in July 2015, have already confirmed headliners Belle & Sebastian - who are due to perform after releasing their new album ‘Girls In Peacetime Want to Dance’ in January - and have now added a further thirteen acts to the bill.
The full list of new additions is as follows: Godspeed You! Black Emperor, Run The Jewels, Mudhoney, Deafheaven, Iceage, Loop, Chelsea Wolfe, The Field, White Hills, Ghostigital, Vision Fortune, Younghusband and Tall Firs.
Speaking of the new additions, ATP’s Barry Hogan has said: “We are super excited to be returning to Iceland for a third year and its exciting to watch the festival grow with so many musical heroes from Loop and Godspeed to new blood such as Younghusband and Run The Jewels. There is more to come and this is likely to be our best lineup yet”.
The 2015 festival will take place at Ásbrú, a former NATO base in Keflavík, from 2nd to 4th July. Tickets are on sale now.
