Rustie airs title-track from new ‘Green Language’ LP

Shuffling, ambient number previews the new release, out this August.

Warp-signed Scottish producer Rustie has aired a new song from his ‘Green Language’ LP ahead of its 26th August release.

The record’s title-track gained its first play midway through Benji B’s BBC Radio 1 show. A drifting, ambient effort, it’s the complete flipside to the in-your-face, Danny Brown featuring ‘Attak’. It links up with that track, plus ‘Raptor’ and ‘Velcro’, in previewing the new album.

Earlier this week a Danny Brown-starring video for ‘Attak’ came out, showing the rapper pacing on the spot and throwing around feathers, as you do.

Listen back from the 59:30 mark to hear Rustie’s ‘Green Language’ track.
