Ryan Adams covers Bryan Adams’ ‘Run To You’ live in Santa Barbara
You can quit those ‘amusing’ heckles right now.
It’s pretty well-known that American alt-country singer-songwriter type man Ryan Adams goes by a very similar name to a certain Canadian rocker-turned-photographer. This is something which has plagued him since… well, probably since high school (unless he was plain old ‘Dave’ back then). And it’s certainly something that’s been a running joke throughout his career.
So last night, at a gig in Santa Barbara, CA, during his and current band The Shining’s encore, he covered Bryan’s 1984 hit, ‘Run To You’, helpfully captured in fuzzy style by one gig-goer.
Ryan and band are currently touring North America in support of his latest, self-titled album.
