Ryan Adams has produced the new La Sera LP, out next year

La Sera aka Katy Goodman (formerly of Vivian Girls) has confirmed plans to release fourth album ‘Music for Listening to Music To’ in March 2016 via Polyvinyl.

The record is produced by Ryan Adams, and came together at his Pax-Am studio in the space of a week, as reports Rolling Stone. “We did it on the only eight-day break that my band had in something like two-and-a-half months,” Adams told the publication, shortly after putting out his ‘1989’ Taylor Swift covers album.

On Goodman’s vocal style, Adams says: “I was certain that I could help her lose control a little bit more and dig into some of the creepier, darker and more mysterious aspects to her voice that I would hear in her lyrics.”
