Sónar 2016 announces New Order, Fatboy Slim, Hudson Mohawke & more
Skepta, Oneohtrix Point Never, and Anthony and the Johnsons frontwoman ANOHNI are also billed to perform.
Sónar Festival has announced the first wave of acts performing at its Barcelona edition. New Order and Fatboy Slim head up the bill. ANOHNI - the new project of Anthony and the Johnsons’ frontwoman - is also slated to perform. Hudson Mohawke and Oneohtrix Point Never - who co-produced ANOHNI’s album - are also on the line-up.
Skepta, John Grant, Kode9, Congo Natty, Matias Aguayo, The Black Madonna, Kenny Dope, and composer John Luther Adams are also set to play. An Ed Banger House Party featuring Busy P, Para One and Boston Bun, King Midas Sound and Fennesz also appear on the initial wave of announcements.
Taking place between 16th-18th June, more names will be added to the Sónar line-up very soon, say the organisers. Watch the announcement video below.
