Santigold plays ‘Can’t Get Enough of Myself’ on Jimmy Fallon

Santigold performed ‘99¢’ stand-out ‘Can’t Get Enough of Myself’ on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon last night. In keeping with the song’s nod towards selfie-taking, Santi wore a dress bearing her own face. Backing dancers, in-sync choreography, and a giant slogan banner for good measure; the performance has the lot. Santigold released her third album ‘99¢’ last week (26th February). Speaking to DIY about the new record, Santi explained some of the ideas behind ‘Can’t Get Enough of Myself’ saying ““I think it’s a little bit sarcastic. It’s silly. You can take it two ways; I can’t get enough of myself, I’m still confident. Or, you can take it as a comment on this era where everyone is constantly selling themselves, constantly obsessed with themselves.” It’s a theme that continues on the interactive video Santi shared for the track last week. Allowing viewers to put their own faces into her videos, it’s pretty nifty to say the least. Watch Santigold’s Fallon performance below.
