School Of Seven Bells’ Benjamin Curtis Dies Aged 35
Late guitarist was also a member of The Secret Machines, Tripping Daisy and UFOFU.

The guitarist of School of Seven Bells, Benjamin Curtis, has passed away at the age of 35 after a battle with cancer.
He was diagnosed earlier this year, with bandmate Alejandra Deheza announcing the news on SOSB’s Facebook page.
A fund was subsequently launched by Ben’s sister. Musicians and friends - including Paul Banks & Albert Hammond Jr. - contributed towards helping to fund expensive treatment.
Today (30th December), the Dallas Observer confirmed Benjamin’s death from T-cell Lymphoblastic Lymphoma.
School of Seven Bells have released three albums in the past five years, following on from Ben’s work in The Secret Machines. He was also a member of UFOFU and Tripping Daisy. His most recent release was the EP ‘Put Your Sad Down’, which followed on from LP ‘Ghostory’ from the same year.
