School Of Seven Bells plan to complete unfinished fourth album
The full video for ‘I Got Knocked Down (But I’ll Get Up)’ has also been unveiled.
Just last week, it was unveiled that School of Seven Bells’ Benjamin Curtis, who lost his battle with T-cell lymphoblastic lymphoma last December, had covered Joey Ramone’s ‘I Got Knocked Down (But I’ll Get Up)’ whilst receiving treatment in a New York hospital.
After teasing the video for the track, the full clip has now been revealed.
The news also comes alongside an announcement from Benjamin’s musical partner Alejandra Deheza, who has confirmed she plans to complete work on their unfinished fourth record. As a press release explains, following their 2012 record ‘Ghostory’, the pair began work on its follow-up almost immediately afterwards. Despite Curtis’ diagnosis in early 2013, he did however, complete recording all of his own parts and Alejandra now plans to finish the album, with a pending release date for later this year.
More information on the record is set to be revealed in the coming few weeks, but in the meantime, you can watch the full video for Curtis’ cover, as directed by Toby Halbrooks and Alan Del Rio Ortiz and filmed in the deserts of Indio and Joshua Tree, via Culture Collide.
