Seasick Steve announces new album, ‘Sonic Soul Surfer’
The singer-songwriter’s seventh album is released in March next year.
Seasick Steve has announced details of his seventh album.
Titled ‘Sonic Soul Surfer’, the record will be released on 23rd March in the UK via Caroline It was recorded, we’re told, “in his front room at the little farm where he lives”, with long-time drummer Dan Magnusson. “The whole record is mostly me and Dan sitting there drinking and playing,” says Steve. “There ain’t a whole lot of producing going on! But I know what I’m doing and I know what I want.”
It also features guest appearances from slide guitarist Luther Dickinson, fiddle player Georgina Leach and harpist Ben Miller.
