Seinabo Sey has a striking new video for ‘Remember’

Just a couple of weeks ago, Seinabo Sey returned after the release of her 2015 debut album ‘Pretend’ with the strident ‘I Owe You Nothing’ and, in the process, offered up a B-side called ‘Remember’ that featured gravelly guest Jacob Banks.

Speaking of the B-side to Dazed, Seinabo explained: “it’s about wanting to be remembered for all of the good things, and hoping that you can walk out of a relationship – whether it be with myself in time, or with a person – feeling a sense of freedom”.

Now ‘Remember’ has a video, directed by Sheila Johansson, that’s every bit as striking as ‘I Owe You Nothing’. Though it’s less than two minutes long, it packs a punch with its black and white cinematography and imagery.

More music from Seinabo is also expected later this year. Hurrah!
