On the telly
Watch Shame bring ‘One Rizla’ to Jools Holland
The band brought ‘Songs Of Praise’ to the first of a new series.
A new series of Later… with Jools Holland began last night (8th May), and our Class of 2018 stars Shame made their debut on the show.
Bringing recent single ‘One Rizla’ to the telly for the first time, the band thrashed through the track with abandon, bringing every inch of the pandemonium that’s been seen at their recent live shows.
The band recently finished up a sold out UK tour in support of their five-star debut ‘Songs Of Praise’, and we caught them tearing London’s famous Electric Ballroom to shreds.
The tour continues through mainland Europe, before they play a host of summer festivals including All Points East (in support of Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds), Citadel and End Of The Road.
View the band’s tour dates here, and watch the ‘One Rizla’ performance on Jools below.
Shame play Citadel (15th July), Bestival (2nd - 5th August), Ypsigrock (9th - 12th August) and Electric Fields (30th August - 1st September) where DIY is an official media partner. Tickets are on sale now. Visit diymag.com/presents for more information.
